Back to reality. Feels like I’m watching my life go on from a distance.

This Too Shall Pass

Free OK Go concert in downtown Providence. And now ends Summer@Brown.

What a strange two weeks.

This Amalgam

It’s pretty astounding how ethnically and racially diverse Summer@Brown is. Take my group of friends for example—there’s a Nigerian girl from Texas (possibly the funniest individual I’ve ever met, often unintentionally), a Palestinian girl from Pennsylvania who says “bumblefuck” frequently, the petite Jamaican girl from DC who looks like a doll, a couple trilingual Lebanese girls, and so many more. But though acknowledging and understanding our different backgrounds is tremendously eye-opening, more than anything, the similarities across the array of ethnic and racial groups are what surprise me the most.

…not going stargazing though.

Tie-dye and fooling around at Courtside with L—perfect end to a second-to-last day of summer freedom.

Started browsing through my textbook’s table of contents and couldn’t resist reading a couple pages of text. Hehe. Thank the lord I didn’t take AP; I would have lost all enthusiasm for the subject.
